Why you should have phone sex

Some of my more “traditional” friends ask me sometimes why anyone would want to “resort” to phone sex.  Some could find this question condescending but in the scheme of things, I suppose it is a fair one.

So why should you pick up that phone?

1) Phone Sex is the safest form of sex. OK, not accounting for abstinence that is and whilst abstinence may be regarded by most if not all of us for kids growing up, the fact is that it is a difficult thing to maintain once a person reaches legal maturity.  So what to do with those sexual urges?  To sleep with any Tom and Dick isn’t really the answer and certainly not a safe alternative.  Besides, there is definitely some truth to the old adage:  Better alone then in bad company.  Which begs the same question once more: “what to do about sex and the need for safety?”  Other than condoms and the inherent risks they entail, the simple truth is..  Not much really!  Unless you have sex by phone!

2) Phone Sex is possibly the only way to act out our wildest fantasies, without fear of endangering our safety or even breaking the law.  And even if these considerations were not an issue in the case of your own particular fantasy, the question arises as to who would even consider exploring them with you in the first place?  Can you find someone that you trust and feel comfortable enough to share your erotic desires and dreams with?  And can you trust that person to willingly participate in them?  The answer to that question is probably not and we haven’t even talked about the more challenging fetish fantasies such as incest, cuckolding, sadomasochism, orgies, extreme taboos etc..  A phone sex conversation provides the settings for the theater of the mind where all these issues can be explored, without fear and shame.

3) Phone Sex is the ideal tool of  seduction where human emotions and eroticism are articulated in their most intimate and infinite variations.  It teaches the art of talking and listening.  As a verbal form of sexual exchanges, it is ideal in making us more aware and sensitive to verbal tips, innuendos, silences, groans etc.. which all part and parcel of that human ability to communicate. An ability that unfortunately a lot of us have lost because of the crazy life we lead.

4) Phone Sex is Romantic.  Detractors of phonesex as an natural way to explore relationship want (but cannot) have it both ways.  They cannot imply that a relationship should be persued romantically through courtship and at the same time deny the realities of modern societies.  Romance can blossom from an infinite articulation of circumstances. Romance can often start with a call to a person you are interested in and then lead to intimacy that is nearly always impossible otherwise.  In fact, running this phone sex company as I do, I see romance blossom nearly daily between pso (phone sex operators) and their callers.  Some may call it infatuation based on a purely sexual chore, but it certainly feels real for all of us.
